2 Simple Tweaks To Help You Lose Weight

Many of us are trying to lose weight and are sick of all the tricks and gimmicks that the media promises is the next big thing. So is there a simple way to start losing fat without spending a fortune on dangerous diet pills, ripoff machines, or meal replacements?

Help You Lose Weight

You bet there is! And I want to share 2 simple tweaks that you can make in your life today to start seeing results almost immediately. Here they are...

Simple Tweak #1 - Begin To Eat Healthier

I know it can be intimidating and uncomfortable when you hear, "eat healthier." It sounds like your mom come back to haunt you or something right?

But it doesn't have to be a dreadful thing. Making a few simple changes to your food choices can cause big things to happen in your body (like melting the fat off!). Don't try to do it all at once. Slowly pick things that are easy for you to change and get in good habits in those areas first.

For example, maybe you'll start eating all fruit and veggies for lunch, or just start making more of your dinners from natural ingredients. You're going for a life style change so the more enjoyable and easier to make the change the better.

The best way to tell if a certain food is good for you is to ask yourself this one question...how much has this been processed before I get to eat it. The faster a food goes from the ground to your plate the better. Instead of having Mac & Cheese for lunch, have an apple and some peanut butter, small changes like that. It may not seem like much, but your body will thank you for feeding it real food instead of all that fake stuff!

Simple Tweak #2 - Use The Small Plate At Meals

I'll be honest with you here...one of the first things you should check if you want to burn fat is your portion size. Most people (especially in America) simply eat way too much at each meal. Instead of going for the biggest plate in the house to put your food on, grab the smaller plates. You'll be less likely to eat too much if you start with a smaller portion (and don't worry, if you really are still hungry after eating it, you can always go for seconds!)

Do me a favor and make a fist right now with your right hand. Now take a good look at it and remember how big it is. That, my friend, is about the same size as your stomach. You really don't need any more food than that at each meal. Getting more is just asking for trouble from the start!
